Some pictures are missing from this day’s stage because my left front tire burst about halfway through the journey while I was driving at full speed (90 km/h).
The tire change and the subsequent return to Höfn for a car swap at Europcar took so much time that I couldn’t stop for pictures on the last part of the route to Djúpivogur in order to arrive at my next accommodation in time for dinner.
