2020 – Graz, Switzerland, Amsterdam & Iceland

2020, the first year of the global COVID-19 pandemic.
When the pandemic broke out in spring, traveling became increasingly difficult. Many countries have completely closed their borders to tourism. Others applied strict regulations and health checks at their borders.
Anyone who was infected was no longer allowed to travel.
Many flights were canceled because it was no longer worthwhile for the airlines. Airports and train stations were deserted for months.
As soon as the number of infections fell due to seasonal factors, the restrictions were relaxed in many places and it was possible to travel again under certain conditions.
