Day 4 – Þingvellir, Hvalfjörður & Húsafell – KMP

This day I started my road trip around Iceland. I left Reykjavík in a rental SUV and headed north. I visited Þingvellir and drove around the Hvalfjörður until I arrived in Húsafell where I visited the Canyon Baths.
In the evening there were northern lights in the sky. In the last six years that I have been traveling in the north, I have been able to observe the northern lights several times. But I have never seen them as strong as they were that evening over Húsafell.
